Temperature
Button - This button functions as a
thermostat. You can set the desired temperature of the vicinity area.
When that temperature is reached, the unit will shut down automatically.
When that temperature is above the set temperature, the unit will turn
on automatically. This is similar to the Climate Control in some
automobiles.
-
Timer
Button - The maximum time to set the
unit to turn on or off by itself is 18 hours. When the unit is running,
pushing this button will set the time to turn it OFF. When the
unit is not running (but plugged in), pushing this button will set the
time to turn it ON. Every time you push the "UP" or
"DOWN" button, you will increase or decrease the time to turn
on or off by one hour increment respectively.
-
Compressor
Indicator - When the unit is in either
cooling or dehumidifying mode, this indicator will light up indicating
the unit is working accordingly. Check LCD Window to see the Mode button
also.
-
Drain
Tank Indicator - When it is time to
empty the drain tank, it will light up and a buzzer will sound alerting
that emptying is required. At such time, the compressor will switch off
and the unit will turn itself into FAN mode. Take out the water tank and
empty all the water. Push the tank back in after emptying will switch
the compressor back on after about 2-3 minutes. The unit will return
back to the previous mode.
-
LCD
Display - This is the
"brain"! All information involving the functioning of this
unit is indicated clearly on this LCD display. Icons are used to give
the user current status of each function. These icons are
self-explanatory and you do not need to refer back to the Operation
Manual to know the status of each function.

It is normal to have blinking
indicator when you are switching between features (Cooling, Dehumidifying,

plugged into failed? Use another outlet instead!

Is the plug dislodged from
the outlet? Pull it out and re-insert!
-
Was there a power surge? If

Water Leak
-
Pull out the water tank to

Sometimes, the sprout is knocked out of position during shipping and by
accident.
-
Check the End-of-Season drain
pipe inside (after pulling out the water tank) if it is dislodged out of
position. If the connection is not tight enough, water would leak out
and fill the bottom plate.
-
Check the side by-pass outlet
to see if there is any debris blocking the dripping passage. Remove
debris if necessary!
-
Make sure the unit is on

overflow may occur.

If all the the above is
checked and the unit is still mal-functioning, please email us for online support.
